Mediation

... is a supported way to have a conversation

  • between two or more people in conflict

  • among people who want to gain different perspectives and construct a positive outcome

It can help you better understand the other person and possibly build an agreement

to move forward.

We practice Transformative Mediation. This approach focuses on moving people from the natural unsteadiness conflict can bring to a place of strength and voice.

We believe

  • each person’s outlook is unique and based on their experiences

  • people can both take care of themselves and connect with the other person

  • positive change can happen—and can last—when you make your own decisions

  • mediators

    • bring dignity, neutrality, and care to the conversation

    • help each person feel heard

    • support each person to build constructive ways to interact

Mediators do not judge, give advice, act as counselors, or make decisions.

They do listen deeply, support you to tell your story, and help you strengthen your relationships.

How mediation can make a difference.
